I liked US Army (Vietnam?) Jungle Boots … But that was a long time ago … Yes, steel shanks and holes in the instep to drain out the water. I even made parachute jumps in them. They were lighter and better fitting than the all-leather ones issued. The bottom tread left nice marks on your adversary's face too. According to some of the figures I've seen, it would be six-inch stiletto heels … etotheipi, your Navy right? Nice, what size heels do you wear? <grin> I'm sorry, you really left yourself open on that one and I couldn't pass it us. Wolfhag |

Nice, what size heels do you wear? 9.5 men's orthopedics from the VA … why? I'm also way past the word "doll" for "historically accurate wargame miniature". Story: We had a friend whose friend's boyfriend was making her (? yeah, whatever) get rid of her WH Empire figures. He had labeled the box "WAR DOLLS". Free figures and ever since I get to "play with dolls". |

US Army (Vietnam?) Jungle Boots Yes AFAIK the ones we were issued in the 101, '80-'83 may have been left over from Vietnam ? We got them issued in the ROK too for ops on the DMZ in the summer, '84-'85. Don't know if those were left over from Vietnam ? Still have a pair or two somewhere … |
