Are you planning on creating a printed version using lulu or wargamers vault?

I haven't thought that far ahead yet but that is food for thought. Initially I wanted to stay pdf so I could keep the price under $12 USD and not have to worry about shipping. I could do a self printed version using spiral binding. Bu I will keep my options open. I am open to any thoughts you might have.

Thanks – Chris

With lulu do you need need to worry about shipping, lulu does that. FFT3 uses LuLu. pdf is still important, but for those players who liked a printed version it may be an option down the line.

D-Day to Berlin 5.1

I have played a number of enjoyable games of D-Day to Berlin recently with other gamers from all over the country using the Vassal Engine (www.vassal.org) . Thanks to Kent in Ct, Ray in ME, John in MA and Dave in FL.

I will be sending out the revision to all my DDtB subscribers shortly in the mean time I am posting my notes on my DDtB blog for any that want to ponder them. If you haven't subscribed yet what's stopping you:)

Just a quick update for interested gamers. The rules are 90% done. I am still working on the right feel for combat but I think it is just about there.

For those following my threads I use Vassal.org and a Poor Bloody Infantry module for my remote play testing with gamers. Works great and it is in real time.

I am pushing for a April release date. At this time it will be a .pdf set of rules.

SRP is looking at $20 USD with a 25% discount for people who have subscribed to my living rules product.

You can purchase and download the current play test version here.

Here is the new cover, hope you like it. I think it fits the title well. The rear cover is an empty LCT leaving the shore.

The rear cover should probably have been a photo of the Reichstag, bearing in mind the name of the rules.

I had though of that but perhaps a lot of gamers wouldn't get it. Maybe some images of the Siegfried Line :)

Next up is Russian Front

"Bagration to Berlin", as suggested by another play tester. again 44-45 :)

Hmm – I see D-D and beyond is using the same image that I decided to use – though colorized. I guess I need to keep looking.

Ideas would be fun to entertain from anybody interested.

Realize it has gone through various design changes since before covid-19, although I have played this over the table top more than once and it has been continually enhanced and well done. Congrats on getting to the release point!

I have just uploaded a new video showing how I randomly set up and deployed a corps-level action.
