Today I finished the publication of a larger article about the small firearms of the German armies during the Franco-Prussian war. It was planned to add a shorter version of the published text into the volume covering the uniforms and the equipment of the German armies (cf. link) but due to space it couldn't be included.

So I made some further research and published the chapter online at link … yes, it is in German, but on the site you find at the right flag symbols to translate the text into some languages.

Hopefully the article is of value for some of you … greetings from Berlin
