Ok, tried posting last time but it didn't quite work, and people couldn't see my pictures. lets try this again. on to the post. These are the first of many French im painting. they aren't done yet, and still need some touch ups but would like your advice or thoughts on them. thanks!

Those look really good. I like the variety of poses, and the different colors you've chosen for them.

Perhaps a dark wash to bring out some of the detailing could be added, if desired.

What scale are they, and who is the manufacturer?

they are 15mm but probably closer to 18mm which allows for more detail, which in my opinion it is worth the extra height and the manufacturer is Khurasan Miniatures in there late 14th century range.

I shall have to see about procuring some in the future.

Sounds like they may not work with Essex, but perhaps just might with the olde Minifigs line of minis which are slightly thinner and taller, IIRC.
