Hi!

I've painted French Death Hussars:

I hope you'll like them.

Much respect!

The lace work obviously. The highlighting of the sheepskin "saddlecloth". But, above all, the skull and crossed bones on the mirlitons.

Blimey……

Very nicely done indeed. Eureka figures?

Blue Max08 Nov 2020 6:26 a.m. PST

Thank you !

Yes these are converted Eureka horse artillerists

I've modified the sabretaches and added Perry plastic hussars pelisses

Great work – French Revolutionary light cavalry are an under-represented bunch; love the figs and thanks for sharing!

And you want to sell them? Beautiful work.

Flogging them on e Bay would break my heart.

The hours that went into painting to this standard, plus of course the initial investment in the figures and the effort to produce photos of this quality……

Blue Max13 Nov 2020 3:29 p.m. PST

Yes, I'm selling them…

Although you're going to make me regret it… ;-)

I am back to painting 25mm after 25 or so years of doing nothing but 15mm. I find these to be very inspiring and inspiration is something I really need when it comes to hussars. Thanks for the photos.
