Excellent work and I agree with your practice.
Innovation is everything!
Though I'm just a bit worried, the French battalions are so small, and yet they have very large flags!

I also multi-task a number of projects simultaneously- keeping the main project in sight while ensuring I don't waste valuable mixed paint (shades), a number of other side issues follow along.

i prefer large flags. they might be unrealistic but look much better on the table.

I paint faster then most. I always have multiple projects on the go.

I have ready to paint atm: Eureka Arquebusier de grassin, Victrix old guard Chasseurs, parts of 2 skirmish AWI units, 2 SYW ammo carts, some 40K AdMech, and some 40K Necrons ready to paint, just so I always something that might strike my fancy.
