You need someone for transport, even if not a team member. Eve (High Road to China) Tozer would be in period. Lady Blackhawk would be somewhat out of period, of course--but she often is. |

Try Pulp Figures PHP04, "Dangerous Dames" Jenny Curtis. PHP11 and PHP19 also have more or less period female pilots, but I think Jenny there is closer to Bess Armstrong. |
