I was just passing through on my way from Florida to Michigan so I only had time for one fort. Where is McAllister in relation to the city? I can put it on my itinerary for my next trip south. |

I have fond memories of Old Fort Jackson. When I was reenacting heavily we drove down there a few times for living histories. Firing the 32 pounder was great, even if we were only allowed to shoot blanks. |
