"A little bit on a cheaper scale than the one above is science fiction action adventure SKYLINES which is currently playing over in UK at the FrightFest starring Rhona Mitra, Alexander Siddig and James Cosmo. When a virus threatens to turn the now earth dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans, Captain Rose Corley (Lindsey Morgan) must lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to the alien world in order to save what's left of humanity."

It looks like it's available on Hulu and Amazon, so maybe I'll have a look.

Thanks.

I believe this is trailer for Skylines 3?

Never heard of this series until now. I see it has Rhona Mitra who used to known as a second-rate Kate Beckinsale, at least until Ms. Beckinsale stopped doing action roles.

My first question is, if they have aliens living with them on earth, why didn't they take some with them as allies in their plan to commandeer the alien ship to invade the alien's home planet?

It's possible if I had seen the first 2 in the series, I would know the answer to this.

The first one had a couple of interesting ideas, but seemed a little bit too influenced, at least in the first half, by Cloverfield, but then descended into clichéd alien-invasion schlock. Vaguely surprised they managed to scrape the money together to make the second and even more so a third…

*Spoiler alert*

The alien mothership surviving a nuke hit and the aliens needing human brains as biocomputer processors ended it for me!
