It wasn't too bad. The story-line is interesting. though I have a tough time believing that a simple map is the KEY to victory.

Some of the graphics were superb.

Acting was highly variable – some good, some bad.

Thanks for sharing.

Pretty good for a fan film.

I have a couple of thoughts/quibbles:

- not a fan of dialogue over the space shots. I get they can't film the bridge scenes for several different ships / situations, but I thought the narration from Axanar was a better method in general.

- There have been several takes on the Romulan War. In this version, I find it VERY hard to believe the UE would not have been able to put together a lot more info on the Romulans if the battles were fought in the future UFP home systems.

- Why the clearly Klingon-inspired cruiser with the Romulan fleet? I think that's going to be very hard to explain.

- I like seeing the Daedalus class ships in formations with the NX class. I could see the Daedalus as a cheaper war-production alternative to the NX.

- I enjoyed the Andorian part, although most previous versions (based on what little cannon there is) characterize this as a UE vs Romulan conflict.

- I found the use of 'stock footage' from other franchises a little jarring, but I guess real modern documentaries do the equivalent (modern ships standing in for WW2 ships, etc.) so I guess it's not much of an issue.
