I'm playing a Chain of Command campaign set in Singapore in 20mm and need to represent a house belonging to a rubber plantation owner. I have one of the 20mm Sarissa colonial houses and I've done some work on that to make it suitable for the Far East. You can see how I did those modifications here link For the campaign I wanted to add a base and so I've recycled a base I had made for a house in French village. To add more tropical flavour I planted a couple of palm trees. The car is die cast and from Oxford. I sprayed it with matt varnish and gave it a dry brush just to make it look less toy like.

Great indeed. We still have a few such houses in DaNang, though they are getting replaced now. |

Lovely, but maybe better as a suburban house. If you google 'Singapore naval base bungalow' you'll get images more typical of plantation houses though they'd be less likely to be black and white – red and white is/was pretty common. |
