With Halloween about to be upon us, does anyone have a headless Roland and that SOB Van Owen in their Biafra force?

Norway's greatest son.

I would think you would need two Roland figures; before and after. I was looking through Peter Pig, but didn't see anything in Range 17 with a Thompson. I might have missed it though.

Well, in 66 and 7, they fought the Congo War, not Biafra.

How about a 25mm Patty Hearst? I thinking of doing a Cthulhu-and-hippies game at some point.

For Peter Pig go to WW2 Brits 14th Army: 8/365 Thompson SMGs. Bush hat for van Owen, swift twist with the pliers for Roland and you're good to go. 'WW2 surplus' no problem for 1960s Congo look, I'd say. We're showing our age though…

Aged reply: Since the first post here, I have been wondering why didn't Roland just get up after being beheaded by Van Owen? I am running on a theory similar to Allan Quatermain; in that Africa won't let Roland die, and thinking maybe there is a delay between Roland being beheaded (killed?) and then having to search Africa before finding Van Owen in Mombasa. I smell a 2 or 3 episodic game. Game 1 involves Roland and Van Owen fighting the Bantu together with some kind of random element (card or dice) that causes Van Owen to turn on Roland taking Roland out of that episode. Game 2 would involve the confrontation in the barroom with Roland and Van Owen. Game 3 might involve Patty Hearst. I need to decide figure scale and game rules and find minis (I do like the Peter Pig figures mentioned above, so that may be a good start).
