Hi Guys, Finished up a 3-platoon German tank company organized and numbered for 1942, so a mix of Pz IIs, IVF1s & F2s. Because of the shortage of PzKpfw. IVs, the typical 4-platoon med. tank company usually only had two platoons of (4) Pz. IVs each, with the third medium platoon not available in the field for much of this period on the Eastern Front.
The tanks are all 1/144th scale Dragon models. Some repainted CanDo pre-assembled minis, and the rest from Panzer Korps kits. This medium tank coy., a StuG III battery, plus dug-in infantry are now ready for a scenario vs. the Soviets featured in this previous thread…..adding this to the growing, to-be-played file folder. No PZIII's or PZ38(t)'s? They should be the most prevalent during this period. |

Nope, built this as the standard medium tank company from within a Panzer Abteilung, not as one of the light companies. |
