Not awful – People who live in climates with cold periods like the Arctic or the Pacific islands* often are taller/larger than average due to the biological heat preservation tactic of the Inverse Square Law . . I'm drifting.
The painting is nicely done, and that woolly look of the lining is captured brilliantly. As for anything else – "It's a wargaming miniature, not a scale model. To make it enjoyable to paint and stand out from a distance, there are certain liberties taken"
