Arise, arise, Riders of Théoden!
Fell deeds awake, fire and slaughter!
spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!

Wow! Really impressive painting. You always demonstrate just how good these injection-molded plastic figures really are. For gaming purposes, it is hard to beat these 1/72 figures.

Even for hack painters, like myself, they are wonderful: good detail, incredibly affordable, and easy to amass an army with, due to low price, ease to paint, and high availability.

Me, I love these 1/72 plastic fantasy figures. I own an Elven army (making them into Drow), a Dwarven army (Hill Dwarves, as they are shorter than my other Dwarven figures), an Orc army, and a massive Goblin army (about 180-200 figures strong). I could not afford these, in metal! I got most of my box sets for around $17 USD each, delivered to my house! Now I just need to get busying painting… Thanks for sharing, and inspiring. Cheers!

Thanks. Also, they are soooo cheap it makes it possible to experiment with conversions. If it doesn´t work..hardly any loss and sets with 4 repeat poses even better. I´ve got two in mind for the Steppes warriors and I´ve already converted the horses from set one.

I really like the horse sculpts…very good anatomy and realistic poses . Much better than most 28 mil sculpts (imho)
Also excellent paint job !

Thanks Daniel. Normally I don´t really enjoy painting horses but these were fun. IMHO,they are among the best 1/72nd horse sculpts.
