I was looking at some of these ships from Games workshop. They are beautiful. I know they are OOP (unfortunate). My question is did anybody pick up the molds from GW and are producing them now? I havent seen anything yet. My buddy thinks EBAY or AMAZON might be the only way. Any thoughts or comments. It is a shame that such good looking (Gothic style) spaceships are not available. I have seen some good looking fleets from GZG and Brigade but not quite the same as the GW ships.

Shapeways has a ton of Gothic types with only the names mostly changed and some with flat out even better prows. link |

Some of those Battlegroup Helios ships are close to the GW battlefleet, really sharp looking,Gothic style. This would be a good starting point,Jonnathon

Idk if you have access to a 3d printer or not but all of the ship stl files are on thingiverse for free. I sold all my ships years ago, but now I'm replacing them…for alot less |

To add to Razor, check out what their capability is at the local library. You may need to go to the main branch at the nearest city, but more and more libraries are getting 3D printing capability. Once they are open again in full, I am doing what Razor is suggesting and making a fleet or two. I have noticed a few boutique shops in my area that advertise 3D printing as well. I would imagine that places like FedEx/Kinko and other printing shops will provide this service in the not too distant future. The one place that I am NOT going to for BFG ships is eBay or GW. |
