Very interesting. I wonder if there is a reenactment unit of the 37th? About 90% of current reenactors would qualify to belong (myself included). |

i think bruce catton mentioned them in one of his books. I think the interesting line from the book not mentioned in the article was not one of them was iowa born, they were all older than the state. it may have been another book, but i do remember hearing of them before. |
