Good write up. I too, think TFK rulesets are hard to get a handle on. The new Sharp Practice book is a considerable improvement on their entertaining, chatty, but unclear first set.
I might finally give them a try.
But I doubt they'll replace M&T for me. |

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
