Tango, you may like my free scenario of the battle of Castiglione-Solfernio. It has detailed OOB`s, battlefield deployment maps, plus a game AAR with photos of terrian.

@Prince of Essling
Do you have a link to the 'BIBLIOTHEQUE MILITAIRE' volume?
Many thanks.

@Allan – unfortunately the only link I can find so far is link and the copy is not good with maps split into two, plus clarity is not what I would hope. Will keep on hunting.

Hi Allan,

try this one : quality is better, and the maps are not split in two !

"Bibliothèque historique et militaire : dédiée à l'armée et à la Garde nationale de France. Tome septième / publiée par MM. Ch. Liskenne et Sauvan"

@Cdr Luppo – good find, but unfortunately it doesn't include all of the maps in the other Tome that I linked to…

Hi Prince Of Essling,

there are 7 volumes available at Gallica. no more. feel free to use your copy from the 1853 edition, Google books if it is more complete. But what are exactly the missing maps between the two editions ? a quick scan of the google 8th Tome showed nothing special that you can't find say in Jomini or Thiers Atlases.

@Cdr Luppo,

Many thanks – I think what we are looking for is mentioned near the foot of the page in the advertisement for sale at the time for Francs 45:

Good day Ian,

the "error" is that in Gallica the two links are noted "TEXT" and "ATLAS"
unfortunately the ATLAS if for latter campaigns (Italy – Crimea etc.) and looking more closely at the description it noted as incomplete ..
Description matérielle : 2 vol. dont un atlas

there's another copy (1836) for what you are looking for, but not in Gallica. same quality as yours !
