My friend The Housemartin just got his copy of this set in the mail. He was very happy with the product and did a two-part review of this interesting version of the classic Peter Dennis paper soldiers

I really like these Plexifigures. So cheap and ready to play with right out of the box. Already color printed. Just punch out and affix to green texture bases and play. Perfect for youngsters and other newbies. I bought my grandson almost all the 28mm figures needed to play the US Civil War game in Don Featherstone's Wargames for $150. USD

I purchased the Jacobite set also.
It was so good I purchased Marlbough wars figs
Great models ready to play.
The basing really is great for Black Powder rules etc.
Good stuff

Thanks Anton for the review and cannon assemble instructions. I have the Punic War and ECW sets. These are really nice figs and worth the money.

Did your friend have any problems with figure breakage during assembly? I had several spears and single foot figures break during the assembly process, But nothing that plastic model glue couldn't fix…

I've been really curious about these. I need something to take to a few local conventions that are portable, look good, and durable to teach new players and not worry about damage

I have both the Jacobite and Texas Revolution Starter sets plus more on order. Stephen at Raven Banner Games is a nice guy and I've been very happy with what I've received so far – a third order is due tomorrow!

I plan on using the Jacobites in "miniaturizing" my Commands & Colors Jacobite Rising board game. Single stands with the provided casualty figures to mark losses using the regular game board and four stand units on a 5" hex mat. They look good and just add to the fun.

Nice find. Will seriously look at the WSS line that they have.

I have sample cards that I am willing to send to anyone interested in these figures. I am confident that you will love them. PM if interested.

I have always wanted to do the Jacobite '45 but simply had too many periods on the work bench. Now I can play it without painting hundreds of tartans.
