Hi everyone!

Just recently moved to Monterey Bay, California for my master's degree! Previously living in southern Pennsylvania, I had lots of options for gaming, both my dad as my wargaming partner and a very short drive to all of the HMGS events.

Looking for some fellow wargamers, primarily historical, but I'd be up for anything! Primary interests are WW2 (land and sea), Napoleonic (and any musket age), any Age of Sail (from Anglo-Dutch through Napoleonic), Pre-Dreadnought Naval, and medieval!

Thanks!

P.S. just started painting up a 1/2400 Russo-Japanese War naval project! Let's game it!

Haven't lived there since my Navy days about 34 years ago. Loved that place. Used to buy all my games in Carmel. Good luck finding a group.

South Bay Gaming Club meets monthly, website is sbgc.groups.io/g/club

I believe there is also an active gaming group in Fresno although that's a bit further away from you.

Been too long for me (attended NPG in 83-85), but there was an active group at the time. Beautiful area of the country!

The South Bay Gaming Club is your best bet. Meets in Saratoga on a monthly basis. We have had a number of players that were at the NPG.

About a 1.5 hour drive from Monterey.

Good morning, Jake.
I have lived in Monterey Bay for many years looking for someone to play tabletop war games with. I have many friends in PA and I know historic tabletop war games are very popular there, unlike here in CA (sadly).

I have a set of American Civil War armies that is just about completed, USA and CSA armies both, in 1/72 scale.

I have a work in progress Napoleonic set of French and Russian Armies from 1812, in 1/72 scale.

I play a little Warhammer 40,000 as well, Blood Angels.

Send me an email if you are interested in connecting.

Thanks for posting and be well.
