I'm going to buy a few Legion figures to game with because my 11 year old son is a Star Wars fanatic. That said, I don't like cards, counters, upgrades, etc., so I think that the rules for the figures won't be on any interest to me. I was thinking of just modifying some Old West rules, Like Desperado, and using them for Star Wars shoot-outs. I'll just spit ball something simple for vehicles and armor. Has anyone done anything similar? |

Well "A Fistful of Lead" has a set of sci-fi rules (called Galactic Heroes) that does Star Wars very well. |

Why not? I've used Blue Mac WWI dogfight rules for X-wing vs Tie Fighters, and it worked fine. |

We also use Galactic Heroes and his Bigger Battles set. I ran a game using GH at Cincycon with 8 or so players. Thanks, John |

What Norris said, FfoL Galactic Heroes. Also take a look at Pulp Alley. It can really be tweaked to work with any genre. |
