These look good on their site and was hoping to use them to bulk out my Monmouth rebels…..minus the bicornes. Opinions? Would these be close enough? Thank you for your ideas. |

I have these figures. They are mostly in the traditional short jacket not unlike that also worn in Spain. From what I have seen Monmouth's troops (about some time earlier) wore long coats or shirtsleeves (no bicorns) so only a few would be useable without a bit of conversion work. They are however very nice figures. Regards Alan |

If you want to bulk out Monmouth's troop shave you looked at the late Seventeenth Century range by Khurasan? link Stand fast a couple of odd looking horses it's an exciting and growing range. PS Vendeans would not look very like late C17th English rebels and they didn't wear bicornes so much as low crowned broad brimmed hats. |
