"While fighting the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, a platoon of US soldiers spotted what looked to be 6 foot monsters circling them in the jungle. Was this beast some relation to the famed "Bigfoot", or was this creature a prehistoric animal that has been lost for centuries? Watch today's incredible video to discover the secrets of the Batutut. Good video ! I have heard stories about the "Rock Ape". It appears in many counties in the world there are specie(s) of unknown primates collectively known as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, etc. The names vary based on location, e.g. Almas – Russian, Yowie – Aust., China -Yeren, etc., etc. The Yeti is a cousin of the Bigfoot having very similar characteristics, or so the experts say.👨‍🏫👨‍🔬

As the video says these large primates seem to live in desolate locations generally far away for humans. They have been know to stay away from humans. However, as we saw in the video, there are some cases otherwise from all over the world. But generally they don't attack per se. But may make threatening sounds, throwing rocks and stones, etc. However as in the video they are very strong, so a close combat with one would be very brutal and messy.

Depending on where they live, adults range from over 6ft to even 12. The largest so far have been found in the Alaskan outback, at about 12ft. tall.

With all the cell cameras, hunting cameras, even CCTVs for security at desolate locations, etc., around today. A lot more footage, pics, etc., of these elusive primates are being seen in the media.

Yes, they are very good at hiding, it is literally "their backyard". They know the trails, caves, etc., etc., where to hide. Having been in the Infantry for over a decade in my youth. I know for a fact you can hide very easily in thick brush, trees, forests, etc. And remain in cover undetected.

Of course it has been said many times when you get too close to them they have a very bad smell. huh? Hence the ones the Southern USA are sometimes called the "skunk ape" not Bigfoot.

I watch a number of shows about Bigfoot/Sasquatch. Find it interesting as I do for mysterious, paranormal, etc. topics.

Have never seen one and don't plan on looking for one, either. 🙈🙉🙊

Somehow, I think Thai Sticks played a role in this encounter.
