Today…ok, well yesterday UK time, I did a solo game to overcome the lockdown blues.
I did a Star Wars skirmish using my own rules link
The write up is on my blog at this link
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I had playing it!!!

Do Stormtroopers need a 7 on a d6 to hit?

A close haircut and headwax always allows a Jedi to "shine".

On the flip side the troopers knitting classes have failed to produce better shooting yet again.

Thanks (LOL!) – Brian, there is no 'to hit' roll in my rules, just a sort of 'saving roll' depending on how many enemy are shooting at you against your sides shooting/defence values.
Sounds complex, but it plays easily once you are used to the concept. I feel it manages to balance fire superiority effects and makes film/TV type battles possible.
All the other combat methods I tried made it too easy to kill Darth Vader in melee, or killing Luke/ Leia with a couple of Stormtroopers, and similar events.
