Trying to find a site which would help me compare the 2 sizes of 6mm figures to see if they are at all compatible. Mark |

I've not come across 1/240 before. I do know that 1/300 are noticeably smaller than 1/285. |

1/240 would by definition be larger. |

I think Baccus is about 1/240 or maybe 1/250? i won't mix 1/285 and 1/300 in the same unit as the difference is very noticeable. the difference between 1/240 and 1/285 is much bigger so I'm guessing not? But then it's a matter of opinion anyway. My 15mm range from 14mm to the top of the head to 17mm to the eye and it never bothers me…. |

As you are asking about figures on the Medieval board I will ignore the 'micro-armour' type guys! Heroics and Ross are one of the earliest manufacturers. Their figures are noticeably smaller than others. Irregular are apparently a bit bigger than H&R but smaller than Baccus. I don't have any so can't say for sure. Baccus are probably the 'benchmark' for 6mm. People often ask how other figures compare with Baccus. Rapier fit well with Baccus. Adler are slightly larger than Baccus but most people happily use them together. The 1/300 and 1/285 descriptions are usually only used for 20th Century stuff. Tanks and whatnot! I can't recall seeing anything called 1/240… |
