Very nice. And I think the highlighting does show. Size-wise, in my rather eclectic collection, the only range they really don't sit well with if placed too close together is Alternative Armies' Ion Age range. |

I have never seen those in person. What is the issue? |

The Ion range, IMO, are in consistent in size. Many, especially later additions, are quite large. |

The Ion Age range (and the original HOF retained knights and levy casts) are tall, definitely push the 18mm bracket IMO. A typical advancing Laserburn Imperial trooper comes up to about the top of the shoulder pad of a standing Ion Age knight. Given the knights are in PA you can suspend some belief, but you loose that completely with the levy. Ion Age are however very nice figures, though I'm not keen on some of the weapons. I've got over 100 levy and around 50 knights, painted as not-IG and not-SMurfs. Who have in the past squared off in a FUBAR game against my Laserburn Imperials and mercenaries. |
