I ran across this game review of the strategy boardgame "The Shores of Tripoli" on the "Journal of the American Revolution" web site. link Looks like an interesting game although the price is rather stiff -- $50 USD ! Jim |

Here's the game's page on BGG, with more detailed reviews by actual gamers: link $50 USD is about average for a game of that type. Considering the number and variety of components (board, cards, ship tokens, coins) that's a pretty reasonable price. |
