This strikingly unusual behavior raises the survival rate for injured ants from a mere 20 percent to 90 percent, according to new research published Feb. 13 in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B…."

Hmmm, better hope they don't grow overly large, learn to carry and use weapons, or find out about humans and decide to attack us, I suspect.

This has a "D-rated" movie written all over it for the SyFy channel – I want credit for the idea, and residuals if you make it.
