Next question – what have you done?

The models are collected and painting has begun. My plan is not to base the ships, however, some of the gunboats in 1/2400 are very small (under 20mm long and about 3 mm wide).

It appears I may well need to base them on something.

What I've been looking at is large blue transparent bingo chips.

Any other ideas?

No need to base them. We don't base our 1/6000 destroyers, and they're about that size. No recent photos, but, here's an old one.
