Nice work Thomas. Makes me think of one iconic photo of a bareheaded grunt moving thru the bush with a small Christmas tree clipped to his 782 gear. Not sure when it was taken or if he was US Army or Marine. With no cover or helmet, probably a soldier. |

Snap, but from Hue. (notice three waterbottles…and this was in the "cold" season.) I somehow recall a US Army chap complaining that the US Marines could always find a flag to raise. As at Suribachi, the chair on the wall in the Citadel, or the tall flag pole in the Provincial Govt HQ, south of the Perfumed river.
