Now, now, some of their parents were married. Maybe not to each other, but why dwell on technicalities? In any case, they look like excellent targets for the heroes' shootin' and punchin' and kickin' skills. |

Great, John. Now I'm seeing Henry Gibson in full stormtrooper regalia. |

Nice work. I have some of these Pulp Figures lined up for painting on my desk as well. |

I have been binge watching "The Man in the High Castle" on Netflix (Heck, Covid, what else are you going to do? No, she has gone to sleep). UK had its Fascist movement BUF. Ireland had its Blue Shirts, as an anti Communist pro Catholic movement. US surely had an isolationist movement and extreme right wing. But would any of them really have formed a German style Nazi collaboration system? I often wonder if such extremists would have been the really fanatical resistance, as nationalist, against a foreign occupier? Obersturmmbannfuhrer John Smith just does not ring true to me. OK argue Vichy France I guess………but not quite full on Nazis |

Blimey, that is brave to publish. Very non PC. To anyone outside the UK I will not have a word said against Leeds United supporters. I only went there once, with the family with the West Ham away fans, but let me just say we did thank the police afterwards. Most scary ground I have ever been to. There are ultra right fanatics in every country, raving bloody lunatics sometimes, and not just Milwall fans, but I still suspect they are so nationalistic that they would not accept foreign domination, even by a Thousand Year Reich. Not so sure about USA, as they may have been German immigrants who made up the Nazi Party locally (stress I have no idea). But UK, I think most BUF members would have fought an invasion by Germany. I like to think that most of the US and UK were above all that Nazi thing. I might be wrong. |

One and all should be assured that in _any_ subbuteo(tm) match that the gifted, nimble-footed L.U.F.C. would trounce the clumpen, jack-booted n*z# menace. |

@deadhead I am confused – what was the non-pc aspect? |

Only kidding. It is my daft sense of humour. There are so many non-PC phobias at the moment, that adding Leedsfansophobia is just fine. Elland Road is a very scary place, but what would I not give to be there for the WHU game, some time this season? Some chance! |

Sensational painting. Thank you. I've always considered myself a "table top" quality painting. If I needed another reason to hate the Nazi movement, putting teeny-tiny swastikas in teeny-tiny spots on teeny-tiny armbands is now added to the list, though only at the bottom. There are so many non-PC phobias at the moment If you just picked a sensible team like Chelsea, this wouldn't be a problem … :) |

Well if Blue Is The Colour, and Football Is The Game – then field the Lads from C.F.C. If you're going to do the Battle of Cable street then maybe get yer Miwhlwahwwhl subbuteo figures out. @d-h – reassured re non-pc – thx. PS. I park and ride out of Elland Road (well, I used to before WFH!) |
