Yup, never seen one like that before. :)

It's maybe Brigadoon.

Well, they did camouflage some sites from enemy bombers well, so perhaps this is an example of that.

This is the most literal illustration of the empty battlefield I've ever seen.

Beautiful!! I really like the church with the steeple sticking up right next to the pier.

The white sand beaches look so realistic.

It's not listed on any maps, which makes it harder to locate…

Got to be one of the best posts in a while.

and that is not a steeple, it is a spire or maybe even a tower. Look more closely…..there is a difference. You clearly know nothing about architecture and I am willing to debate this through countless postings….and I will seek your references from you. (I should explain I am from the Napoleonics Board where such conversations become increasingly aggressive and tiresome)

Isn't that cheating by using a Romulan Cloaking Device to hide the town?

A view of Ocean City Maryland?

FlyXwire08 Sep 2020 2:35 p.m. PST

Or maybe Atlantis City?

Deadhead you fool! You know that any minute a learned internet professor with an honorary degree in non-existent architecture will turn up to school you. Also that's a minaret if ever I've seen one.

Stay safe and well,

Not sure which is better.

Your response.

Or your choice of a "nomme de plume". My lead mountain is worse than my plastic mountain.

I do accept no-one said which coast. It could indeed be for Operation Torch and French N.Africa, so a minaret. I'll buy that. Shame is we will never know

Bit like Waterloo really. The experts will abuse each other non stop and request non existent….or non English which is effectively the same thing….. references. After three or four pages no-one is any the wiser!
