With my order of Eureka Miniatures coming in this morning, I was ready to take shots of samurai miniatures I own from different manufacturer's (everyone of them). I aligned them as best as I can. I hope this will come handy to some of you that are perhaps considering adding miniatures from a new brand to their collection.

Thanks for all of your effort! I imagine that this would hold fairly true for many other periods as well. |

Only the manufacturers themselves could confirm, Perris0707. I have 15mm napoleonics too but only minifigs, battle honor and old glory 15s as well as a lot of 15mm landsknechte from minifigs. I am in no position to answer myself. |

Are there any Samurai lines that could actually mix? Doesn't look like it. |

Mixing in the same unit? I do not plan to except for one unit per clan that gathers the nobori flag bearers and ashigarus armed with "other weapons" (wakizashi or naginata). But within the same clan (4 to 10 units), yes I may have units from 2 or 3 different manufacturers as long as the size of miniatures is similar. |

I must admit I have indeed been mixing minis from different manufacturers for units of peasants and ronins. The effort to have them of similar size in a single unit remains, but the many poses and variety in equipment (both defensive and offensive) visually suggest they're not regular troops. |
