Very nice. And the color of the water is the reason, during the Civil War, that it was referred to as the "Brown Water" navy. Much better than the screaming royal blue you usually see used for rivers and other waterways.

Fair enough.

Horses for courses. I find they make it easier to pick up the ships without damaging the paintwork. And they come with the metal bases anyway, so I added them to my scratch built ones so they match.

The terrains not too bad though 😉
