Every unit, every one, other than the 42nd Black Watch, got it right. King's Colour right of the Regt colour.

I tend to think of old school miniatures as a bit on the crude side, detailwise. But however glossy the finish, there is some very fine work goner into these.

Beautiful old vintage Hinton Hunts, a range created in the mid to late Sixties and many of these castings date from back then! I know they are part of a collection of over 1000 painted figures now and I have been following the blog for almost 10 years. I also painted one of the units here 30th foot yellow facings/flag (left/rear) on commission over 5 years ago.
