I've just discovered the Ju-88 weighed more than the Dornier 217. What on earth was all that about?!

Which versions are you comparing? I've got the following data… Ju 88A-4 Empty equipped 21737lb Max Loaded 30865lb Do 217E-2 Empty equipped 23225lb Max loaded 36299lb
