At approximately 19 feet in length, the "Boomin Beaver" security tug is about as long as a Ford F-150, and plays a surprisingly important role.

Originally designed to herd logs in waterways, the US Navy repurposed the vessel to perform light duties in the harbors near Navy yards…"
