I suspect it is now far too late to chase after it, and observe or take samples from the object. A pity, sadly, if I am correct, since I imagine it was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to do so. |

Of course it's a long shot, but it's not impossible. Whatever it is, it deserved more study than it received. |
