I have been working on a tool/app to automatically generate personnel and stats for a BEF infantry battalion in 1940.
I hope to also do similar tools for other nations and unit types like armoured and cavalry.

Thought I'd post some details and examples of what Ive got so far and try and get some feedback.

Rather clever, perhaps you need to throw in a few Scottish names as well and surely there would be at least one smith. But on a serious note, automating scenario generation is a good idea. I have been trying to do the same at a higher level, but find its mainly useful for the person publishing a scenario as no-one wants to muck around with computers on gaming day.

As someone who plays a lot of campaigns with a lot of characters, that is pretty damn cool!
