Over on Must Contain Minis, I took a quick look at Frostgrave Second Edition and wrote an article about the changes I noticed from First Edition. Come check it out…

Thank you. I also have the first edition and felt it was a great set of rules – I was never certain WHY you would want to add to the original but your review (short as it is) at least gives a balanced view. I'm not sure I'll be rushing out to buy second edition, but this may change in the future.

Once again thank you.

Fair enough. Thanks for the comment Tony!

Interesting. I was considering getting into Frostgrave earlier this year, then heard a second edition was pending. It sounds like quite a bit of effort went into resolving the sort of problems that pop up if you play test a game thousands of times (as opposed to "let's make a new version so we can sell additional copies.").

Looking forward to your deeper review as I think we watch the same YouTube creator!

Thanks guys. It will be a while before I give the book a full review. I like to read rules cover-to-cover on a deeper level before writing my full-reviews and I have a lot of content coming about all sorts of games and products.

Andrew, I am not going to name the YouTube creator, but you could be right. I respect his work, enjoy that he gushes over games, and appreciate that we generally have similar tastes in games.
