It occurred to me that I needed something for my Wargames Atlantic German infantry to shoot at and I didn't have any Great War Brits, so I did the next best thing, I made a tank! link |

It seems that nobody makes a 1/56th scale MK IV…… Amen! That is great! I like the idea of making the card sides for the foam core. For the treads, you might want to look into foam sheets. With a pair of scissors and a jig, you can cut a boatload of them pretty quickly. I am in process of making one at 1/35 and two at 1/74 scale for 28mm, but that's scifi, so they make two "light" armoured strikers and one behemoth. I need a couple scale ones to go against DOM's Germans, though. Your WIP makes the project seem less intimidating. Thanks! |

Well, I got it done, even after helpful folks pointed out that there ARE 1/56th scale MK IV models out there. I was too far down the rabbit-hole to quit, and I only needed one anyways! |
