I stumbled upon a Russian produced documentary on the Crimean War made in 2016 on Netflix. It naturally has a Russian point of view. The first two one hour episodes are taken up with the background to the war and the actions in the Baltic and the Balkans. We don't get to the investing of Sevastopol until the third episode. Interestingly for this Anglocentric viewer, the Battle of the Alma barely mentions the British assault and give sole credit to the French Zouaves and artillery who took the Russian defenses in the flank. It's very well produced with lots of Russian reenactors taking part.
