So I'm wondering what's available out there for 15mm sci-fi buildings? I know GZG has some; and Brigade makes a few; and there's some MDF kits like Minibits, but I don't really like MDF buildings at all. I'm hoping you guys are able to recommend some ranges I might have overlooked. My Google Fu IS weak, after all. |

Blue Moon does some…available from Old Glory |

Heya Paul. ;) Yeah the Blue Moon ones look a little Billy Blastoff or Major Matt Mason for my liking. I've seen some good designs on Etsy for 3D printed stuff in 28mm. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask if they do resizing. |

HO scale model train buildings work well with 15mm and there's a lot of variety. |

I just got some building accessories from Brigade Models that I plan on using to spruce up MDF buildings from GCM. I posted a video here youtu.be/q7ce_tjY3Pw |

Thanks whitphoto. I've thought about building accessories actually. Maybe applied to some electrical boxes or appropriate foam shapes. |

Thanks whitphoto. I've thought about building accessories actually. Maybe applied to some electrical boxes or appropriate foam shapes. I've made a fist full of electrical box buildings using bits from Micropanzer and the now defunct Combat Wombat. GZG also has a line of bits, and buildings. Once I'm done with the building I'm doing now I'll take some photos and post them with my electrical box buildings. Take a look at Ebay for "1963 guidancetown" from Child Guidance Toys. Thats the orange building in these shots link Easy to glue up, despite the age the plastic is still good, easy to add stuff to and it's almost spot on for scale. |

I too am a big fan of adding details to found building forms. Such as the plastic bubbles that carded toys come in:
I mostly make my own details. link But there are a number of vendors that sell them or you can take them from railroad structures. One vendor sometimes over looked, The Scene: link Also, you my want to refine what type of Sci/Fi. Post Apocalyptic or Fall-Out types are very different then shinny future like Star Trek or Space 1999. In more of the later is a modular system sold by Alternative Armies:

And if you are interested in 3D printed Doctor Merkury's Lab at wargame vault has some great stuff link But electrical boxes and "found" objects are good. Also paper terrain 28mm can be resized to 15mm 1/100 HO scale |

Whitphoto – only 3 kits at this time. $30 USD to $50 USD a kit though. But the electrical boxes always a fall back to when it comes to scifi buildings. Many examples out there. Iain over at UnderTheCouch has a few posted he has done things to, though in 28mm. Processes can still be used. Dyehard – "I mostly make my own" Kind of an understatement? Been loving your site for years now and what you do with that imagination of yours. Blacksmith – Good call on Iliada Games Studio. He has many things to offer in many scales. He is about to release some 12mm scale stuff for those silly folks who play in that weird scale. :-) But not just buildings that he sells, but he sells bits. Another awesome source and Ali is a heck of a guy that tries to do all he can for his customers. Deserves atleast a look at his site and more by making an order. Have a look Bravo. Grimm |

Awesome stuff all around. I don't do 15mm, but I do use found objects for micro and 25mm. |

Stratos Studdio Minis are moving out of their 15mm line, but if you have access to a 3D printer ( Often attached to libraries or "Makerspaces" for public access) , you can until January get some files for 15mm structures – link |

Hey Dyehard, thanks for picking up my slack! |

It is all good! I am a very visual person, so I love to add photos. And these types of threads are a good chance to pull all the links into one place. What I like to call a "review article". This way once I forget all this good stuff, I can search and find it once again. |

I managed to get a few buildings made from a friend on Etsy with a 3D printer from a range called "District 0012" and scaled down to 15mm. The aesthetics of this range was exactly what I was looking for. Here's a final product my friend snapped a pic of before posting it out…
