This 15mm Maurikian army is built around Irregular's stylish Kavallarioi figure. They needed a bit of TLC (replacements spears etc.) but they have always been eye catching.

I love the variety of figures and the imagination in your baggage elements. I wish I could be that creative. Amazing work!

Utterly superb work! A tip for anyone replacing upright lances/speares: run the bottom of the lance/spear right down onto the figure base and glue it there. If you want it to look shorter, then disguise the bottom with a clump of grass. This will greatly strengthen the figure.

Yes, a good tip (every spear job benefits from a good tip wink) … I have done that with some figures (though not these – where it is close to the body and therefore intrinsically strong).

As well as the terrain camo, painting the bottom bit black works surprisingly well *tick*

Good to share ideas.
