What's 'inclusive history'? When I was growing up there was just 'history'. I guess people have to justify thei job somehow…. |

"Inclusive" means you put in the trendy stuff and toss something else to make room--history being pretty much zero-sum at the popular history and exhibit level. So less Daniel Morgan and more Deborah Sampson, and more on von Steuben's (purely guesswork) sex life, and less on his drill manual. But that's this year. No telling what's going to be "inclusive" in 2026. |
