Evening all,

I needed some Napoleonic Spanish Grenadiers on the hurry up, so decided to order another pre-painted battalion pack from Stonewall Figures

They are definitely worth considering for anyone building a Napoleonic Army on a budget, as 24 figures are only 19 GBP a pack (0.79 GBP each).

You need to manage your expectations a bit, but they are war-game standard.

I chose to tidy mine up, but all in all, decent value

As always, comments and feedback welcome

Appears to be a really decent deal – particularly since the figures are included

Yeah

Not the best painting but at 79p a figure, you can't expect too much.

You can always improve them aesthetically and with basing like I did. I forgot to mention that they arrived un-based so you can base them in the same style as the rest of your army

Nothing The Dip can't fix.

They look worth the price, yes, and en masse on a battlefield most people aren't looking at the details.

I think they look like they are worth the price as well.

I have hundreds of them and they do touch up really well

Yep look ok for what they are.
How about a more complex figure? Did you see other sameples?
Corrction on blog I think "For 19 GBP a figure this is"…

That's actually pretty interesting. Hit them with the dip or magic wash and that's a fine paint job for what they are and what they cost.

Thanks for sharing!
