What, "professional wargaming"? Like, earning a living from playing?!?

Earn a living from wargaming? and take all the fun out of it? No, thanks.

I've done both, and give me hobby gaming every time.

By and large, the amateurs are more "professional" in the usual meanings of the term--prepared, focused and to a degree impersonal--and MUCH less inclined to cheat. Hobby wargaming mostly is fun, but I usually left my professional games with a feeling that I hadn't been paid nearly enough.

Maybe more training will help.
