Hey all. I have a German 28mm Grille SPG all painted up that I'd like to outfit with some crew to make it look more like it's in combat.

Does anyone have any recommendation for crew to man this vehicle that I can obtain from a US vendor?

I was looking to do something similar; I settled on the Perry crew even though it wasn't an exact match. I presume you've considered and decided against. One thing I tried and almost went for were Old Glory/Westwind figures. There are these tank crew figures, which could be modified with some green stuff to be holding shells and what not: link Then there's crew for the Pak 40: link They're crouched down pretty low. Good luck!

Well Westwind was mentioned, so what about Tamiya 1:48 scale figures. Two sets which work well is the Tamiya Models German Infantry on Maneuvers Model Kit and German Panzer Grenadiers sets. Both come with actual tank crew, and the rest can be augmented to fill in the ranks. I use several sets to out fit all of my 1:48 models and 3D printed models with open top areas and turrets. Available through Amazon, so it should be a quick turn around on delivery.

It's a shame that you only want US vendors because JTFM makes a 15cm sIG crew that might work.
