Ah, I remember well the only Harpoon game I ever played.
The guy running it advised both sides to launch all their torpedoes and missiles on Turn 1.
Then we spent the next two hours moving 5/16" per turn.
What I don't remember is if we ever resolved the torpedoes or missiles.

Sounds about right, John, though to be fair, you can change the time scale for each turn, back and forth, if needed/desired, which should definitely be done in many cases.

I have the first edition (I think, from the 80's). While it had lots of data, it was disappointing because aircraft carriers were too much for the game. Fleet actions were out of the question.
